The Annual Elizabeth Taber Library Book Sale may feel far in the future, but the dedicated team of volunteers that run the event actually collect and sort books all year long.
We would first like to express our deep gratitude to all who donate. The book sale is in an integrial part of the Library budget, allowing the ETL to be semi-private, which means we do not rely 100% on funding from the town budget.
Second, we would like to remind you that the library happily supplies Letters of Donations which you can deduct as charitable donations.
Finally, we appeal to you, as competition is increasing! Many have commented on the three large new Book Donation bins that have sprung up in Marion and Mattapoisett. This, in combination with the popularity of ebooks, Kindle’s, Nooks and iPads, we are concerned for our supply.
We appreciate our patrons and your support. If you need assistance with the transportation of the books from your home to the library, please contact us, 508-748-1252.
