Readers’ Advisory Group
Are you a big fan of reading, but don’t necessarily enjoy traditional book clubs? Try our Readers’ Advisory Group! This group is perfect for those who love to talk about what they’re reading but don’t like the structure or pressure of a regular book club.
We’ll chat about the hottest new releases, explore different genres, share recommendations, and discover hidden gems together. There’s no assigned reading—just great conversation and plenty of bookish inspiration. This group meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month. .
Spice Pantry and Seed Library
Offered Seasonally, the Spice Pantry and Seed Library are free to anyone in the library.
Seed Library (May-August): Through donations from local farms, and stores we are able to offer a wide range of vegetable, fruits, herbs, and flower seeds for free! Each family is allowed three seed packets per visit to the library. Learn to grow these seeds with materials from the library, or if you are an experienced gardener, add them to your seasonal garden beds!
Spice Pantry (September-April): browse our spice pantry to find just the right spice to brighten any meal! Our generous sponsors at Fieldstone Market, Stop and Shop, and Shaw’s, make it possible for us to provide fresh spices for your enjoyment! Either select spices you would like to try, or grab one of our pre-packed recipe/spice packets to try at home!
Take & Make Crafts
Available on a first come, first serve basis, the Library offers free craft kits for adults bi-monthly. These kits are free to take (and make), and often incorporate locally sourced materials, skills that can be picked up quickly, and ideas from books in our collection. Each craft is easy to learn, and fun to make!

Memoir Writing Workshop
Looking to tell your story? Join our Memoir Writing Workshop, every third Thursday of the month from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, led by Al Caron. Call the library to inquire or register. This program is free.
